Never played something like this before.

It's original, as far as I know I have never come across another game like this before. It was fun, a nice, fresh, original idea, which was very challenging (especially from about 14 onwards).

Took me a while to get used to the controls, and to be perfectly honest, I never really did, but I managed to get a good grasp of the way it works. Rest assured, I managed to complete it eventually (definitely without cheating).

The only thing I'd suggest you could do is maybe enhance the game graphically, the spike traps looked really bland, and not too exciting. The game itself worked very well though, no problems, as far as I could see.

Good job. That's two good games from you in one day. :)

Great work.

I love the idea behind this game, it's like Line Rider, but with a few major differences which turns it round completely. The explorer mode was the most fun for me though, I like the way the character is centered on the screen and the lines are in fact what moves. Looks really cool. The "main" game was also very entertaining too, the levels were mostly fun, some were quite challenging, and after a long run through I managed to complete all of the levels.

The character selection was also an awesome feature too, such as the Angry Faic and Shoop Da Whoop.

Very good job. :)

Thanks for the review :)

If you have any moar ideas for stuff I can put in the customization thingy, tell me :3

Amusing.

The game itself was quite amusing, I only gave it a quick go playing as Light and L, but from what I saw in the ten minutes or so I was playing it, it looked pretty good, it was amusing, the sprites looked pretty good, and the concept itself didn't look too bad.

I still prefer your V-Tech Rampage, though.

A pretty nice tutorial.

Graphically, I'm pretty impressed by this tutorial, the background was nice, and the graphics you used were effective. Providing screenshots is also a plus. The tutorials were explained pretty well, so for newbies to Flash, this'd be the ideal tutorial to learn about the aspects this tutorial explains.

The only thing which I'd edit is the amount of tutorials, perhaps on more advanced aspects of Flash, masking is quite an important tutorial, as is buttons (ignoring the other hundred button tutorials), but apart from that, the stuff was pretty basic, but for absolute newbies, this tutorial would be ideal.

Good job, you know your way around making tutorials for sure.

Dakurus responds:

Yeah, you can only fit so much into a Flash Document.

Nice concept.

Very good game here, aside from how sometimes the control system can be a bit annoying until you manage to get the hang of it, a good game. I liked the idea, haven't played a game quite like this for quite a while, and with god knows how many levels this game has, it'd take me a long time to solve all of the puzzles. I'll definitely give it a go though.

Nice graphics, nice music, nice sound effects... not much I'd change really, you made this pretty damn well and I'll definitely get into it sometime. Good job. :)

Got boring too quickly.

I'm glad someone finally brought back the dead and forgotten "You have to build a burger" genre, but to be honest, it wasn't as good as I hoped by what the title suggested. It was what it was supposed to be pretty well, but what it was wasn't a particularly good concept anyway, I got bored after unlocking the cheeseburger, and felt like there was nothing left to do.

Add a few more functions and things to do on the game, perhaps even different modes and gameplay, and I'd like this game a lot more.

But nonetheless, it was pretty well made, I like.

It'd be nice if you played thru the game before you reviewed it. You didn't get past level 1? In levels two and three there are more "things to do" I assure you.

A very good twist from the original.

As far as I can see, this is quite different from the original, not so much the gameplay at all, but I liked seeing that there was more to it than just a basic IQ-challenging puzzle game, it had more to it, and that adds to the reason why I was playing it for ages. Still haven't completed it though, I'll be working on this one for weeks. :)

Hope to see a third one, since these puzzles can only be so limited once you've beaten them. Nonetheless, a very fun and challenging game the first time round, so I'll be hoping for a sequel. :)

A very good replica of the original Portal.

I like this game a lot, the similarity to the 3D console version of Portal was brilliant, it was professionally made, and the puzzles kept me playing for hours on end. I can't say much about how unique the idea was, but it's a pretty good replica with new ideas and levels, so that doesn't really apply to this particular game. :)

The only thing I had a slight problem with was the number of glitches in this game. On some levels - mostly the later ones, I would find myself going through walls, portals leading to completely random places on the screen, and on level 39, the first time I walk through the exit I end up in the entrance. A few glitches which hold it back, but otherwise a fantastic game. 5/5

Brilliant.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most fun games on Newgrounds. It was challenging to keep up with the colour changing from levels two onwards, and at the same time it had a very good control system. The Angry Faic is an ideal character to use too, and destroying the other emoticons was a pretty well thought-out idea too.

The music was also pretty good, it wasn't one of those annoying tracks that makes you want to shoot yourself two minutes into the game, so good job with that too. Other than that, I can't think of much else to say, nearly everything was flawless. The only thing I could suggest is try to make the action start up a bit quicker on the first few levels, especially since sometimes it's possible to lose good-running combos.

Looking forward to an Angry Faic 2. 5/5

Not too bad.

You could make a pretty good game from this concept, if you just change a few things here and there and perhaps add a few more things. Although the music used was a good choice, the game could probably use a little more audio, especially sound effects. For example, sometimes it was hard to tell if I had died or not when I hit the exit to each level.

Apart from that though, I like the concept, it's like Ball Revamped, but with a few twists which makes it somewhat unique and fun to play.

A good try. Keep at it. 3/5
